Assistant Warden (or ‘Resident Assistant’), Agnes Blackadder Hall, 9/2013 – 8/2016

This role entails building community and offering pastoral support to 500+ undergraduates living in the hall of residence. Responsibilities include dealing with a variety of issues as they arise, providing a first point of contact for advice and personal support to residents, taking formal disciplinary action or referring residents to a wide range of other agencies – both within the University and externally. Further duties include maintaining health and safety in the residence and facilitating events.

Head Men’s Basketball Coach, 9/2014 – 5/2016

In this role, I taught players the fundamentals of basketball in order to hone their individual skills, as well as to improve their ability to play on a team. My team competed in both a local Fife and Tayside league as well as a regional league (across Scotland).
